Our Impact
The Little Black Bag takes pride in providing period poverty advocacy and in informing the community about period poverty and the challenges that are presented to those experiencing the lack of: menstrual hygiene products, access to menstrual health hygiene facilities, and proper menstrual health education. In addition to disseminating information about issues related to women’s health and reproductive health.
Since being established in 2017, The Little Black Bag has provided an abundance of menstrual hygiene bags to individuals in need.
The Little Black Bag has provided resources to a population of individuals from various backgrounds including: residents, unhoused populations, college students, high school students, and community and church members, within North Carolina.
We find fulfillment in raising awareness about period poverty, educating the community about menstrual health hygiene, and advocating for those impacted by period poverty.
